Whether you're about to move to the Town of Mooresville or have already moved in, you can find below essential things you may need to do and information you may want to know as you move into your new home. 

Sign up for Water Service
To open a new utility account, please complete an application for service. If you are applying for multiple locations, you'll need a separate application for each address. You can apply online by clicking below, or you can print and complete the PDF form, and open a new account in person in the Utility Billing Office at 413 North Main Street.  Please note that new applicants will be subject to a deposit depending on the applicant’s credit, which can vary between a waiver and $200.

    • For more than 4 names on deed or lease please contact waterbilling@mooresvillenc.gov,
      Failure to list the appropriate number of people that corresponds with the docs required will result in the form being rejected and a new form will need to be completed.
      *All property owners listed on the deed will need to submit names, driver's license, and Social Security Numbers.
      **Any renters listed on the lease who are over the age of 18 will need to submit names, driver's license, and Social Security Numbers.

Getting an All Access Library Card for Mooresville Public Library is easy and can be completed during your first visit to the library. This card allows access to materials at the Library, as well as digital resources through our website. For more information, click here.
