Apply for Mooresville's Citizens Academy Today

The Town of Mooresville is once again hosting its annual Citizens Academy! Mooresville residents, who live within Town limits, are invited to sign up and learn the answers to some of the burning questions most asked – why can’t you widen Hwy 150? Why can’t you change the timing of traffic lights? What does it take to be a Firefighter or Police Officer in Mooresville?

The 2023 Town of Mooresville Citizens Academy will be held every Wednesday night, from 6-9 p.m. from September 6 to October 25, 2023. It offers residents a hands-on and behind-the-scenes look at how local government works and how the Town serves the community. Participants must be able to attend 8 consecutive Wednesday sessions from 6-9 p.m., September 6-October 25 and must reside within Town limits. The Academy is limited to 15 participants.
