Exit 38 Study

The Exit 38 project is a new interchange at Cornelius Road and I-77. North Carolina's Transportation Improvements Program is funding and constructing the future exit. The Town of Mooresville is proactively working with NCDOT and area property owners on a preferred design for the future Exit 38 project. The Town’s Exit 38 study began in July 2023 and will be completed in March 2024. At the Board of Commissioners meeting on March 4 (6 p.m. at Town Hall), the Commissioners will consider endorsement of the Alternative D as the town’s preferred alternative for the interchange design.
