There will be a Pollinator Garden kick-off display, snail craft, sensory bins with healthy water and creatures, sensory bins with healthy dirt and creatures, along with Creek Week coloring books.

Mooresville Youth Council
The Mooresville Youth Council has plenty of Earth Day fun activities for children, including a scavenger hunt, bird feed, snail races, recycling games, and giveaways for children to enjoy.

Stormwater Division
Children can make a DIY water filter with our Stormwater Division. They can also help "Scoop the Poop" with Dog Mayor Buttercup!

Fire Marshal Woody
Learn more about Fire Marshal Woody, Mooresville Fire-Rescue's newest initiative to ensure kids are prepared for any emergency, including fires. Children can take home a Fire Marshal Woody coloring page and create a 'Flat Woody' to capture their safety preparations with their family.

150th Anniversary Symbolic Tree Planting
The Town's Environmental Protection Committee will plant up to 10 trees in honor of the Town's 150th birthday, ensuring the celebration is marked environmentally for residents and visitors to enjoy for years to come. This effort will be part of Arbor Day on April 20, 2023 and will help mark the Town's 14th year as a Tree City USA.
