Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Cancellations

Due to our concern for our residents as our area experiences an uptick in COVID cases, the Town of Mooresville is sad to announce that we have decided to cancel the larger “Vision of a Bigger Dream” indoor events that were planned for Jan. 15 & 17 in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. This includes the concert planned for Jan. 15, and the walk and brunch that were scheduled for Jan. 17. While we are disappointed, the health of our residents must come first.

On a brighter note, we are still planning to have something virtual to commemorate Dr. King, so stay tuned for further details! Additionally, we will still hold our volunteer opportunity events at Serenity House, the Mooresville Christian Mission and for the Mooresville Kindness Closet. More information about those opportunities can be found at https://mooresvillenc.galaxydigital.com.
