Gov. Cooper issues Executive Order 209, easing restrictions and increasing mass gathering limits

On Wednesday, April 28, Gov. Cooper announced an executive order easing the mask mandate restrictions for outdoor gatherings. Masks will no longer be required outdoors, but will continue to be required indoors in public places. Additionally, the mass gathering limits increased to 100 people indoors and 200 people outdoors.
