Gov. Cooper issues Executive Order 180

During a press briefing on Nov. 23, Gov. Roy Cooper issued an executive order increasing face covering requirements to "prevent the rapid spread of COVID-19." The order adds additional circumstances in which people are required to wear Face Coverings in public places, both indoors and outdoors, by amending Executive Order 169. The order can be seen at
