How do I pay Library fines and fees online?

If you would like to pay fines/fees on your account online, you can go to our library website "Library Online Payment" page for step-by-step directions.

What forms of payment are accepted for online payments?

Major credit card including VISA / MasterCard / AMEX.

How do I know my payment is secure?

Our Online Payment System uses current technology and industry standards such as PCI compliance. Cardholder data is never stored or exposed on the library’s system, giving you the peace of mind that your personal information is safe.

Is there a minimum amount that must be paid online?

Online credit card payments must be at least $2.00.

Can I choose to pay only a portion of a fine/fees?

Yes, on the Itemized Fines/Fees page you can choose to pay all or part of your charges.

Is a service fee charged when paying online?

No. We do not charge a service fee.

How soon will my payment be applied to my account?

Your account will be immediately credited following the submission of your payment.

Do I get a receipt when I pay online?

Yes, a payment receipt will display which can immediately be printed or e-mailed.

What happens if I received an error message or the transaction was declined?

Error Message: Retry your transaction and verify that the correct information was entered. If you get another error message, contact the Mooresville Public Library, Circulation Department at (704) 663-1701.

Declined Message: If your credit card is declined please follow up with your credit card company.
